Aqua Flowers Shibori

A pretty white silk all-over shibori haori decorated with rbokashi ribbons of blue and turquoise interspersed with pretty abstract flowers  

The haori has an off-white silk rinzu lining with a saygatta design with cloud and crane print motifs in pink and cream with pink woven himo ties. 

Shibori is a traditional manual resist dyeing technique in which tiny sections of light-weight silk are bound with thread to produce the design before dyeing. Learn more about the art of shibori here.
