Black Haori with Embroidered Blossoms

A lovely plain black kimono jacket with pretty camelias & kiku (chrysanthemum) in shades of pink with black stems and leaves on the back & one of the sleeves. 

The off-white silk lining has an attractive rinzu design that has swirls with stylised pine trees, maple leaves and pampas fronds. Rinzu is a silk damask fabric in which a subtle, repeat satin pattern is woven onto a matte background. The jacket fastens with white hand braided silk himo ties.

These handpicked vintage pieces are imported directly from Japan. Sometimes they may exhibit slight signs of wear or very faint blemishes as part of their vintage & antique nature, but overall are in excellent condition and suitable for wearing.
