Black Haori with Cutwork Embroidery

A pretty plain black kimono jacket with abstract cutwork embroidery motifs that resemble sunset above mountains and sea. The fabric behind the lace effect created by the cutwork embroidery has an ombre effect in shades of blue and pink.

The cream silk lining has a mass of rinzu flowers. Rinzu is a silk damask fabric in which a subtle, repeat satin pattern is woven onto a matte background. The jacket fastens with white & pink silk himo ties accented with gold thread.

These handpicked vintage pieces are imported directly from Japan. Sometimes they may exhibit slight signs of wear or very faint blemishes as part of their vintage & antique nature but overall are in excellent condition and suitable for wearing.
