A lovely plain black kimono jacket with embroidered motifs in lilac & purple on the back & one of the sleeves. The motif features a simple landscape with pine trees, a stream, bamboo leaves and kiku (chrysanthemum) flowers.
The cream silk lining has an attractive rinzu chequerboard design filled with traditional patterns. Rinzu is a silk damask fabric in which a subtle, repeat satin pattern is woven onto a matte background. The jacket fastens with white & dark purple silk himo ties.
These handpicked vintage pieces are imported directly from Japan. Sometimes they may exhibit slight signs of wear or very faint blemishes as part of their vintage & antique nature, but overall are in excellent condition and suitable for wearing.
