Mens Wool Juban

An vintage mens fine wool juban with a printed repeat design featuring shishi lions & other traditional motifs. 

This vintage wool juban has a repeat design incorporating shishi lions, swallows and decorated fans with a pale blue grey cotton lining. This lightly used fine wool juban is in very good condition with very faint blemishes on the silk collar.

In contrast to womens kimono, mens kimonos are typically in subdued, darker colours with subtle patterns and textures, however the juban, worn as a secondary layer under the kimono is often richly patterned or may have a hand-painted design.
