Sunset Flowers Shibori

Vintage silk kimono jacket (haori) featuring a stylized floral design created with the traditional Japanese craft of shibori, an intricate form of tie-dye. Shibori is made by binding tiny sections of light-weight silk with thread to produce the design before dyeing.

An attractive one-of-a kind design in graduated shades (bokashi) of orange & red with a cream printed silk lining decorated with chrysanthemums. The jacket fastens with a cerise & white ombre ties - perfect for dressing-up jeans for a sophisticated summer casual look.

Please note this is a vintage piece which has a tiny brown mark on the front right sleeve that is largely camouflaged in the design. The jacket is wearable for those that can appreciate its vintage nature.
